Something's Gotta Give (Movie Review)

I enjoyed SGG a lot!

Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton play Harry and Erica, respectively, and they'll make you laugh! This is a romance comedy, perfectly paced, with a superb supporting cast. You won't ear gunshots, you won't watch high speed pursuits, and there is no murder plot. SGG is just about a middle age man and middle age woman, finding out that they can feel “butterflies”, again.

Nicholson is like a pendulum, between false heart attacks and Viagra effects; Keaton is either hating Harry or loving Harry. And Keanu Reeves is a doctor with no medicine for making Erica fall in love with him. Maybe the movie is about a love trio, after all.

This is a simple movie, with great acting and good music. It is relaxing and, while being nothing new, it is a different proposal, in a market overcrowded with violent, noisy, and expensive titles.
