1 - Computer Science Weblog (November 2000)

Alex's site is something heavy on the code, but that is just perfect, if you are willing to learn something.

BotEpidemic is not strictly programming related, but it shows the way to many appliances of the bots technology.

The CDX Library has great tutorials supporting it, and it should make your VC++ game programming life easier.

Computer Science Weblog (November 2000) - unmissable CS links, discovered on last month's web surfing

Alex has a superb website, heavy on the code. He develops tools, from 3DSMAX helpers to complete C++ frameworks, that ease the task of building a 3D game.

Amit J. Patel is a Ph.D. student at the Stanford University. His website is such an impressive collection of documents and links to relevant URLs, that he simply can't be praised enough.

Bots are becoming quite popular these days. These software agents now populate many of the best computer games. Botepidemic.com is NOT programming oriented, but delivers info mostly on first person shooters (FPSs) bots.

CDX is a game developing kit, designed to be integrated with Microsoft Visual C++ 4 (and greater) and with Borland C++ 5 (and greater). I only took the fastest peek on the simplest program you can write using CDX, and I was impressed with how easy it was. Do check this one.

This Indiana University site, keeps lists of image file formats, movie file formats, and 3D file formats. What more could you ask for?

The Visual C++ developer's journal is all about VC++... This is a great central site for the tool that is becoming a standard in serious software development.

Amits' site spreads across many sub-sites, all related to computers.

CICA site (@ Indiana.edu) is stuffed with everything on file formats.

Visual C++ developer's journal - VC++ coverage doesn't get much better.
